M1 Minot State University rolls over M1 Colorado State University, 7-1

The M1 Colorado State University Rams had trouble finding ways to stop the M1 Minot State University Beavers, which beat Rams, 7-1.

Lyndon Lipinski had a great game for M1 Minot State University, netting two goals. Lipinski scored at 14:48 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Minot State University and again while 12:50 into the second to make the score 5-1 M1 Minot State University.

The Beavers stifled M1 Colorado State University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Rams were unable to stop M1 Minot State University from sending pucks towards the net, and the Beavers eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. The defensemen of M1 Minot State University were also effective in M1 Colorado State University's zone, and came away with two goals.

Others who scored for M1 Minot State University included Kyle Lipinski, who had two and Jeremy Johnson, Brett Nespor, and Derrick Brooks, who each put in one.
