Behind a great game by Zechariah Roberts, who had one goal and two assists, the M1 Liberty University Flames defeated the M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights, 5-2.

Roberts scored 8:21 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Liberty University. Kyle Garcia assisted on the tally. Roberts dished an assist on Tyson Street's goal that made the score 1-1 at 17:13 into the first period. He added another helper on Danny Logan's goal that made the score 5-2 M1 Liberty University at 19:44 into the third period.

M1 Liberty University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. The Flames put 31 shots on net during the contest, more than the 15.1 they average per game.

M1 Liberty University additionally got points from Chase Harris, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Logan, who also racked up one goal and one assist. M1 Liberty University also got a goal from Owen Harris as well. In addition, M1 Liberty University received assists from Jackson Giammona and Zane Schartz, who each chipped in one.
