M1 Ohio University downs M1 Liberty University, 6-3

The M1 Ohio University Bobcats beat the M1 Liberty University Flames, 6-3.

M1 Ohio University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 45 shots on goal during the game, better than the 6.8 shots per game it averages.

The Bobcats were led by Michael Harris, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Harris scored the first of his two goals at 7:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Ohio University. Patrick Spellacy picked up the assist. Harris' next tally made the score 4-1 M1 Ohio University with 7:49 left in the second period. M1 Ohio University additionally got points from Spellacy, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Liam Geither, who also tallied one goal and one assist. M1 Ohio University also had goals scored by Cody Black and Matthew Hartman, who each put in one. More assists for M1 Ohio University came via Trent Johnson, Joey Breslin, and Reilly Moore, who contributed one each.

By firing 29 shots on goal, M1 Liberty University exceeded the 13.1 shots it averages per game this year.

The Flames were led by Grant Garvin, who registered two goals. Garvin scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 43 seconds into the second period to make the score 3-1 M1 Ohio University. Robert Ward provided the assist. Garvin's next tally on the power play made the score 4-2 M1 Ohio University with 2:39 left in the second period. Ward picked up the assist. M1 Liberty University also got a goal from Paul Lamoureux as well. In addition, M1 Liberty University received assists from Steven Bellew and Ben Hughes, who each chipped in one.

Aaron Alkema rejected 26 shots on goal for M1 Ohio University. The Bobcats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Matthew Pinel made 39 saves for M1 Liberty University on 45 shots. The Flames incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
