M1 Naval Academy ^ United States rips M1 Towson University, 8-1

The M1 Naval Academy ^ United States Midshipmen had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-1 win over the M1 Towson University Tigers.

M1 Towson University's nine penalties came back to haunt it, as the Tigers let up five goals while on the penalty kill.

M1 Naval Academy ^ United States was led by Alexander Vandenberg, who registered one goal and one assist. Vandenberg scored on the power play 10:20 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States. The Midshipmen had gotten the advantage when M1 Towson University's Brett Gleiche was sent off for high sticking. Jack O Hear picked up the assist.

The Tigers were unable to stop M1 Naval Academy ^ United States from sending pucks towards the net, and the Midshipmen eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
