M1 Indiana Tech let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. M1 Indiana Tech took a 4-3 advantage on a goal by Kyle Cobb at 4:36 in the third period. M1 Indiana Tech found itself down 3-1 after M2 Michigan State University's Jack Tobiczyk put the puck home on the power play at 10:52 in the second period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a goal by Michael Albosta at 5:10 in the third, M1 Indiana Tech got the game-winner from Adam Jonak at 8:46 in the third period. With three goals and one assist between them, Ryan Attwood and Jonak teamed up to power M1 Indiana Tech's offense. Attwood had two goals and Jonak also added one goal and one assist. M1 Indiana Tech's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and three majors for 71 minutes in penalty time.
