M1 Indiana Tech downs M1 Midland University in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

M1 Indiana Tech pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over M1 Midland University on a clutch goal by Jace Childs.

Jarrett Pfeiffer had two goals to lead M1 Indiana Tech to victory. Pfeiffer found the back of the net 19:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Indiana Tech and again while 12:20 into the second to make the score 3-1 M1 Indiana Tech.

M1 Indiana Tech's offense was clicking better than usual and put 40 shots on goal during the game, better than the 13.1 shots per game it averages.

Adam Jonak also scored for M1 Indiana Tech. More assists for M1 Indiana Tech came via Ryan Theisen, who had one.

M1 Midland University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four M1 Indiana Tech power plays. M1 Midland University put 38 shots on net during the contest, more than the 18.3 it averages per game.

M1 Midland University was led by Bradee Thompson, who tallied one goal and one assist. Thompson scored on the power play 18:01 into the second period to make the score 3-3. A high sticking penalty on Alex Gregorich had put M1 Midland University on the power play. Sam Zwiener assisted on the tally. M1 Midland University also had goals scored by Sam Turner and Kyle Whipple, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Midland University were Matthew Blaszkiewicz, Jason Henry, Ben Henry, and Taylor McConnell, who contributed one each.
