M1 Lindenwood University rips M1 Illinois ^ University of, 4-1

The M1 Lindenwood University Lions had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the M1 Illinois ^ University of Fighting Illini.

M1 Illinois ^ University of was stymied by M1 Lindenwood University's netminder Cody Karpinski, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Karpinski managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.86 prior to the game.

The Lions were paced by Alexander Carlsson, who finished with one goal. Carlsson scored 19:58 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Lindenwood University. Cade Owad provided the assist.
