M1 Adrian College blows out M1 Western Michigan University, 7-1

The M1 Western Michigan University Stallions had trouble finding ways to stop the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs, which beat Stallions, 7-1.

M1 Adrian College got the win behind a great game by Matthew Schwehr, who had one goal and two assists. Schwehr scored 18:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Adrian College. Trevor Benaglio picked up the assist.

The Bulldogs forced M1 Western Michigan University goalie Will Massey to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. M1 Adrian College bested its season scoring average. The Bulldogs have scored at the pace of 4.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

M1 Adrian College additionally got points from Zachary Mackay, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Ken Winter, who also had one goal and one assist, and Brad Kobryn, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Chris Derochie also scored for M1 Adrian College. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Adrian College were Archie McKinnon, who had one and Nikolas Sakellaropoulos, Tyler Duarte, and Ted Anstett, who contributed two each.

The Stallions were held below their usual level of production. M1 Western Michigan University puts an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.

The Stallions were led by Casey O doherty, who scored the team's only goal. O doherty scored 9:11 into the second period to make the score 3-1 M1 Adrian College. Matthew Williams assisted on the tally.

Austyn Roudebush made 21 saves for M1 Adrian College on 22 shots. The Bulldogs ended with no penalties and went 2-for-0 on the power play. Massey recorded 41 saves for M1 Western Michigan University.
