The shootout featured six attempts between both teams. M1 Illinois ^ University of's shootout goal was scored by Jack Soneson. In addition to the clincher, M1 Ohio University got a shootout goal from Tyler Pecka.The Bobcats were paced by Michael Palasics, who had one goal.
