The Caledonia Corvairs pulled out a 1-0 (OT) overtime victory over the St. Catharines Falcons on a clutch goal by Blake Luscombe. Luscombe's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 1:43 in the fifth period. Jordan Brown picked up the assist. Caledonia was led by Luscombe, who grabbed one goal. The Corvairs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Caledonia's offense operated below its season average. The Corvairs average 5.6 goals per game. St. Catharines was unable to stop Caledonia from sending pucks towards the net, and the Corvairs eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. More assists for Caledonia came via Mitch Graham, who had one. The Falcons' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Caledonia power plays. St. Catharines did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season.
