Nikolas Dampier had a standout game with 35 saves, and the St. Thomas Stars beat the St. Marys Lincolns 3-1.

St. Thomas was led by Carson Brookshaw, who racked up one goal. Brookshaw scored short handed 17:39 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Thomas. The Stars found themselves down a man on Carson Moniz's hooking. Curtis Ferreira provided the assist.

St. Thomas' offense rang up 48 shots on St. Marys' net.

St. Thomas also got points from Matt McJannet, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Spencer Hutchinson also scored for St. Thomas. Other players who recorded assists for St. Thomas were James Newland, Adam Truax, and Nathan Ferris, who contributed one each.

The Lincolns forced the Stars goalie Dampier to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

St. Marys was led by Brent House, who scored the team's only goal. House scored 13:30 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Tristan Gallant assisted on the tally.

St. Thomas incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. For the Stars, Jake Reed was ejected from the game. Emanuel Vella rejected 45 shots on goal for the Lincolns. St. Marys incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
