Jake Brown tallied two points to lead the Caledonia Corvairs to a 3-0 victory over the Thorold Blackhawks.

Caledonia's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Thorold power plays. The Corvairs were held below their usual level of production. Caledonia puts an average of 5.7 pucks into the net per game. The Corvairs forced Thorold goalie Josh Astorino to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots.

Caledonia also had goals scored by Austin Brown and Tyler Hill, who each put in one. More assists for Caledonia came via Matthew Hore, who had two and Daniel Volpe, Corey Pawley, and Todd Ratchford, who each chipped in one.

The Blackhawks did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Thorold averages 2.7 goals per game.

Caledonia's Mark Sinclair stopped 16 shots out of the 16 that he faced. The Corvairs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Astorino recorded 43 saves for the Blackhawks. Thorold incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
