The Waterloo Siskins had trouble finding ways to stop the Listowel Cyclones, which beat Siskins, 8-2.

In addition, Listowel received assists from Tim Nauta, who had two and Riley Robertson, Kade Landry, Ray McFalls, Corey Flemington, and Chayse Herrfort, who each chipped in one.

The Siskins kept Listowel's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Fassl made 29 saves on 31 shots.

Waterloo was helped by Ryan Sparkes, who finished with one goal and one assist. Sparkes scored 9:11 into the third period to make the score 7-2 Listowel. Jared Lindsay assisted on the tally. Waterloo additionally got points from Lindsay, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Waterloo were Matt Bourbeau and Brett Schaefer, who contributed one each.

The Cyclones totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Listowel ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Keaton Willis was ejected from the game.
