Fratarcangelli leads Chatham over Lambton Shores, 6-2

Mark Fratarcangelli was all over the ice for the Chatham Maroons, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Chatham's 6-2 win over the Lambton Shores Predators.

Fratarcangelli found the back of the net on the power play 18:55 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 2:43 into the third to make the score 5-2 Chatham.

The Maroons stifled Lambton Shores' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Chatham kept the Predators' goalie busy throughout the game, and Anthony Hurtubise made 51 saves on 57 shots.

Chatham additionally got points from Gus Ford, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Chatham also had goals scored by Ian Faubert, who had two and Chris Corgan and Ross Krieger, who scored one goal each. More assists for Chatham came via Michael Douglas, Connor Koviak, Teddy McGeen, and Cory Bussing, who contributed one each and Dede Cato and Steven Beenackers, who each chipped in two.

Lambton Shores forced the Maroons goalie Parker Butler to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. The Predators could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Lambton Shores was helped by Ethan Sarfati, who registered one goal. Sarfati scored 19:00 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Chatham. Brenden Trottier picked up the assist. Cole Braney also scored for Lambton Shores. In addition, Lambton Shores received assists from Franco Sproviero, Marcel Berube, and Colin Burns, who contributed one each.

Parker Butler made 31 saves for Chatham on 33 shots. The Maroons incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Predators registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. For Lambton Shores, Sarfati was ejected from the game.
