Baker nets hat trick, leads Stratford to 8-4 win over BramptonAllman Arena Fri, Oct 02, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
The Brampton Bombers could not stop the Stratford Cullitons' Tyson Baker, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-4 win. Baker notched his first tally 8:33 into the second period. He then added goals at 12:47 into the second and at 19:35 into the second.Brampton fell victim to a deadly Stratford power play, which ripped the Bombers for four goals. Brampton was unable to stop the Cullitons from sending pucks towards the net, and Stratford eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. The Cullitons' goal total was higher than their season average. Stratford averages 4.1 goals per game. The Cullitons' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Stratford also got points from Joe Leahy, who also had two goals and one assist, Jack Scanlan, who also racked up one goal and two assists, and Hayden Broomhead, who also tallied two goals and three assists. The Cullitons incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Jason Rhynold rejected 36 shots on goal for the Bombers. Brampton registered one goal on six power play opportunities.
