M3-Florida Gulf Coast University survived a determined comeback attempt by the M3-Tampa-University of Spartans on the way to a 4-3 win.

M3-Florida Gulf Coast University made the score 4-2 on a goal by James Williams at 10:11 in the third period, and M3-Tampa-University of got as close as 4-3 when Konstantin Zuev scored 11:33 into the third period.
