M1 Kent State University outlasts M1 John Carroll University, 4-2Gilmour Academy Fri, Jan 15, 2016 In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the M1 Kent State University Golden Flashes escaped with a 4-2 victory over the M1 John Carroll University Blue Streaks. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jared Fielden secured the win for M1 Kent State University with a goal in the second period. Jonathon Buttitta was all over the ice for the Golden Flashes, as he finished with two goals in the win. Buttitta scored at 4:41 into the second period to make the score 3-1 M1 Kent State University and again while 1:45 into the third to make the score 4-2 M1 Kent State University. M1 John Carroll University was unable to stop M1 Kent State University from sending pucks towards the net, and the Golden Flashes eventually piled up 45 shots on goal. More assists for M1 Kent State University came via Jake Hainline, who had two and Joseph Sullivan, Casey Barile, Xavier Sudlow, Miles Radosevic, and Andrew Radosevic, who contributed one each.
