Sam Briscoe had two goals and one assist to lead the M1 Minot State University Beavers to a 7-3 victory over the M1 Iowa State University Cyclones.

Briscoe scored at 4:30 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Minot State University and again while 13:30 into the second to make the score 5-1 M1 Minot State University.

M1 Minot State University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. The 48 shots that the Beavers put on net surpassed M1 Minot State University's average of 4.0 shots per game this season.

M1 Minot State University also got points from Morgen Martelle, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Brett Nespor, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
