M1 Midland University uses fast start to beat M2 Augustana College, 14-0

M1 Midland University opened up a six-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 14-0 win over M2 Augustana College.

Kyle Whipple was all over the ice for M1 Midland University, as he tallied two goals and five assists in the win. Whipple scored the first of his two goals at 19:17 into the first period to make the score 5-0 M1 Midland University. Samuel Thrutchley provided the assist. Whipple's next tally made the score 9-0 M1 Midland University with 4:38 left in the second period. Blair Seitz picked up the assist.
