The M1 Minot State University Beavers used a sparkling performance by Holden Kurtz to take down M1 Midland University, as the netminder did not allow a goal in M1 Minot State University's 4-0 shutout victory.

The Beavers were led by Brett Mcnevin, who racked up one goal. Mcnevin scored 1:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Minot State University. Eric Bollefer assisted on the tally.

M1 Minot State University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 41 shots on goal during the game, better than the 5.5 shots per game it averages.
