Day's big game bests M1 Lehigh University in 6-1 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States win

Behind a great game by Christopher Day, who had one goal and two assists, the M1 Naval Academy ^ United States Midshipmen defeated the M1 Lehigh University Mountain Hawks, 6-1.

Day scored on the power play 17:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States. M1 Naval Academy ^ United States had gotten the advantage when M1 Lehigh University's Henry Brooks was sent off for kneeing. Trent Lulow assisted on the tally. Day dished an assist on John Linenger's goal that made the score 3-1 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States at 5:48 into the third period. He added another helper on Matthew Caine's goal that made the score 5-1 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States at 17:50 into the third period.
