M1 Lebanon Valley College's Acker deadly on offense in 6-2 win against M1 Naval Academy ^ United States

Travis Acker had two goals to lead the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen to a 6-2 victory over the M1 Naval Academy ^ United States Midshipmen.

Acker found the back of the net 9:58 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Lebanon Valley College and again while on the power play 4:41 into the third to make the score 3-1 M1 Lebanon Valley College.

M1 Lebanon Valley College put 36 shots on net during the contest, more than the 17.7 it averages per game.

M1 Lebanon Valley College also had goals scored by Matthew Reno, Joey LaBonte, Nicholas Skerlick, and Eric Higgins, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Lebanon Valley College received assists from Jacob Thomas, Justin Boyd, and Andy Thurby, who each chipped in one and Bryan Hovanec and Travis Hall, who contributed two each.

M1 Naval Academy ^ United States managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Midshipmen finished below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game.
