M1 Naval Academy ^ United States holds on for 4-3 win against M1 Villanova University

The M1 Naval Academy ^ United States Midshipmen survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Villanova University Wildcats on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Christopher Day put M1 Naval Academy ^ United States up 4-0 in the second period, but M1 Villanova University pulled to within one on David Troiano's tally 9:28 into the third period.

The Midshipmen's offense rang up 38 shots on the Wildcats' net.

M1 Naval Academy ^ United States was helped by Matthew Caine, who racked up one goal. Caine scored 4:34 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Naval Academy ^ United States. Gil Givens picked up the assist. M1 Naval Academy ^ United States additionally got points from Givens, who also had one goal and one assist. M1 Naval Academy ^ United States also got a goal from Jack O Hear as well. In addition, M1 Naval Academy ^ United States received assists from Trent Lulow, who had three and Karl Huey and John Linenger, who each chipped in one.
