Nick Devito lifted the Picton Pirates to a 7-2 victory with a hat trick against the Campbellford Rebels. Devito's first goal came 19:57 into the second period. He then added goals at 6:15 into the third and at 17:41 into the third.Campbellford trailed by one after the first period, but Picton went into the second intermission with a 4-0 lead and never looked back. The Pirates' penalty kill excelled, as Picton gave up one goal despite allowing 10 power plays. The Pirates forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up 11 minors and one major for 67 minutes in penalty time. Picton surpassed its season average of 22.0 penalty minutes per game. The Rebels were unable to stop the Pirates from sending pucks towards the net, and Picton eventually piled up 39 shots on goal. The Pirates bested their season scoring average. Picton averages 2.8 goals per game.
