Matthew Hunt grabbed two points to lead the Port Hope Panthers to a 4-0 victory over the Picton Pirates.

Port Hope's offense rang up 36 shots on Picton's net.

Port Hope also got points from Josh Geruais, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Port Hope included Dan Lagrois and Evan Wasylyk, who each put in one. In addition, Port Hope received assists from Shawn Mackie, who had two and Blane Gaudon, Dalton Lawrence, and Mike Smith, who contributed one each.

The Pirates were held below their usual level of production. Picton puts an average of 2.4 pucks into the net per game.

Sheldon Calbury made 16 saves for the Panthers on 16 shots. Port Hope incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Charles Grimard recorded 32 saves for the Pirates. Picton incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
