Aaron Young was superb between the pipes for the Port Hope Panthers, as he did not allow a goal in an 8-0 victory over the Picton Pirates. Cameron Lowery was all over the ice for Port Hope, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Lowery scored 9:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Hope. Jon Campbell provided the assist. The Panthers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Picton was unable to stop Port Hope from sending pucks towards the net, and the Panthers eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. Port Hope found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Panthers average 5.7 goals per game.
