Huge game by Peltonen boosts Northwood School over St. Andrews College, 5-2Gunnery School Sun, Feb 21, 2016 Behind a great game by Aleksi Peltonen, who had two goals and two assists, Northwood School defeated the St. Andrews College Saints, 5-2. Peltonen's tallies came at 12:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Northwood School and 4:35 into the third to make the score 3-2 Northwood School.Gabin Ville also scored for Northwood School. More assists for Northwood School came via Wyatt Wilmshurst, who had two and Malcolm Arseneau and Kaden Pickering, who contributed one each. St. Andrews College could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Saints put an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game. St. Andrews College kept Northwood School's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matthew Petition made 29 saves on 31 shots. The Saints were helped by Regan Kimens, who tallied one goal. Kimens scored 3:09 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Connor Ali assisted on the tally. St. Andrews College also got a goal from Mitchell Martan as well. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Reid Yochim and Morgan Barron, who each chipped in one. Northwood School incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cole Chapman made 22 saves for St. Andrews College on 25 shots. The Saints totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-3 on the power play. |
