Gunnery School downs St. Andrews College, 6-0

Josh Gagne racked up one point to lead Gunnery School to a 6-0 victory over the St. Andrews College Saints.

Gunnery School forced St. Andrews College's netminders to work all game long, taking 34 shots and forcing 28 saves. Cole Chapman made 15 stops and Kristian Hufsky made 13. Gunnery School could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game. The defensemen of Gunnery School were also effective in the Saints' zone, and came away with three goals.

Gunnery School additionally got points from Zikmund Mroz, who also registered one goal and one assist, Cameron Donaldson, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Gustaf Westlund, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Gunnery School also had goals scored by Keelan Ulnick and Daniel Haider, who each put in one. In addition, Gunnery School received assists from Evan Johnson, who had two and Connor Dahlman(C), Zach Pellegrino, Ethan Destefani, and Noah Williams, who contributed one each.

St. Andrews College's offense operated below its season average. The Saints put an average of 4.4 pucks into the net per game. St. Andrews College was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 18 penalty minutes.

Sean Keleher made 23 saves for Gunnery School on 23 shots. Gunnery School registered one goal on two power play opportunities. For Gunnery School, Johnson was ejected from the game. The Saints registered zero goals on two power play opportunities. St. Andrews College ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Luke Wyatt was ejected from the game.
