St. Andrews College blows out Bishops College School, 4-1

The St. Andrews College Saints were firing on all cylinders against Bishops College School, and when the final buzzer sounded Saints emerged with a 4-1 win.

St. Andrews College's penalty kill excelled, as the Saints gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays.

St. Andrews College was led by Mitchell Martan, who grabbed one goal. Martan scored short handed 6:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Andrews College. A slashing call on Noah Lugli put the Saints on the penalty kill. Ryan OConnell picked up the assist.

St. Andrews College's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Saints finished with 14 penalty minutes.

St. Andrews College also had goals scored by Kyle Hunter, Reid Yochim, and Corey Andonovski, who each put in one. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Lucas Thorne, who had one and Connor Ali, who had two.

Bishops College School was led by Default Player, who scored the team's only goal. Player scored on the power play 11:05 into the third period to make the score 4-1 St. Andrews College. Bishops College School had gained a power play chance when Felix Cote was whistled for roughing.

Kristian Hufsky made 21 saves for St. Andrews College on 22 shots. The Saints registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Bishops College School's Default Goalie stopped 18 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Bishops College School incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. For Bishops College School, Player was ejected from the game.
