St. Andrews College's Hunter deadly on offense in 7-4 win against Shattuck St. Marys

The St. Andrews College Saints relied on the scoring touch of Kyle Hunter, who netted two goals, to beat Shattuck St. Marys, 7-4.

Hunter found the back of the net 12:14 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Andrews College and again while 6:40 into the second to make the score 3-2 St. Andrews College.

St. Andrews College's offense rang up 42 shots on Shattuck St. Marys' net. The Saints bested their season scoring average. This season, St. Andrews College averages 4.8 goals per contest. The Saints' penalty kill unit could not stop Shattuck St. Marys' power play, which converted on two of three opportunities.

St. Andrews College also got points from Lucas Thorne, who also registered one goal and one assist, Mitchell Martan, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Corey Andonovski, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
