A goal 2:30 into the first period by Tyler Shagen proved to be the game winner, and powered M1 Drexel University to the victory. Zach Paro picked up the assist.The Dragons' Zachary Kantner was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 38 saves and let only one puck past him. Kantner managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.81 prior to the game. M1 Drexel University was paced by Christopher Carroll, who finished with one goal. Carroll scored on the power play 2:48 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Drexel University. Christopher Hagen assisted on the tally. The Dragons' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five M1 Towson University power plays. M1 Drexel University's offense rang up 40 shots on M1 Towson University's net.
