LaPointe had two goals and two assists to lead M1 Syracuse University. LaPointe scored the first of his two goals short handed at 9:23 into the third period to make the score 3-3. The Orange found themselves down a man on Nolan Metzler's cross checking. Robert VanRaamsdonk picked up the assist.
