M1 Syracuse University survives M1 Delaware ^ University of comeback, wins 3-2

The M1 Syracuse University Orange survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Delaware ^ University of Blue Hens on the way to a 3-2 win.

A goal by Nolan Metzler put M1 Syracuse University up 3-1 in the third period, but M1 Delaware ^ University of pulled to within one on John Redgate's tally 18:48 into the third period.

Metzler had a great game for the Orange, netting two goals.

M1 Syracuse University's offense rang up 36 shots on the Blue Hens' net.

M1 Syracuse University additionally got points from John Ross LaPointe, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, M1 Syracuse University received assists from Thomas DiPasquale, Ben Silver, William Franzese, Mitchell Lesueur, and Benjamin King, who each chipped in one.

M1 Delaware ^ University of was held below its usual level of production. The Blue Hens average 4.2 goals per game.
