M1 Western Michigan University downs M1 Illinois State University in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The M1 Western Michigan University Stallions' Zach Mudge scored 1:32 into overtime to beat M1 Illinois State University, 4-3 (OT).

Casey O doherty had two goals to lead M1 Western Michigan University to victory. O doherty scored at 1:30 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 17:10 into the third to make the score 3-3.

The Stallions excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. M1 Western Michigan University's offense rang up 33 shots on M1 Illinois State University's net.
