Rosemount Irish 14U survived a determined comeback attempt by Omaha AAA 14U on the way to a 3-1 win. A goal by Keaton Kranz put Rosemount Irish 14U up 3-0 in the second period, but Omaha AAA 14U pulled to within two on Chris Johnson's tally 14:50 into the third period. Omaha AAA 14U was stymied by Rosemount Irish 14U's netminder Mason Dupuis, who stopped 27 shots during the victory. Dupuis certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.88 entering the contest. Rosemount Irish 14U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Omaha AAA 14U power plays.
