M1 Ohio University squeaks by M1 Lindenwood University, 4-2

The game between the M1 Ohio University Bobcats and the M1 Lindenwood University Lions was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end M1 Ohio University emerged with a 4-2 win.

The Bobcats gained the winning advantage on a goal by Joey Breslin 8:56 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Matthew Hartman had a great game for M1 Ohio University, netting two goals. Hartman's tallies came at 31 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Ohio University and on the power play 6:55 into the first to make the score 2-0 M1 Ohio University.

The Bobcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The 25 shots that M1 Ohio University put on net surpassed the Bobcats' average of 6.8 shots per game this season.

Alexander Vazquez also scored for M1 Ohio University. In addition, M1 Ohio University received assists from Derek Rahme, Bryan Lubin, Liam Geither, Jake Faiella, and Matthew Rudin, who contributed one each.

The Lions were led by Kevin Walters, who registered one goal and one assist. Walters scored 9:49 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Ohio University. Stephen Bopp picked up the assist.
