M1 Temple University falls to M1 Drexel University in overtime, 8-7 (OT)

The M1 Drexel University Dragons pulled out an 8-7 (OT) overtime victory over M1 Temple University on a clutch goal by John Quigley.

M1 Drexel University overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Dragons trailed 3-1 after a goal by M1 Temple University's Aron Litostanski at 5:16 in the second period. M1 Drexel University tied things up at 7-7 on a goal by Jason Lombardi at 18:37 in the third period.

The teams traded the lead four times and neither team could skate away and hide. M1 Temple University took its last lead at 11:57 in the third on a goal by Patrick Hanrahan to make the score 6-5 M1 Temple University. The Dragons took over the lead for good with a goal by Quigley 29 seconds into the fourth to make the score 8-7.

M1 Drexel University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. The Dragons' goal total was higher than their season average.
