M1 Ohio University outlasts M1 Liberty University, 4-2

The game between the M1 Ohio University Bobcats and the M1 Liberty University Flames was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end M1 Ohio University emerged with a 4-2 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Drew Crandall at 11:32 of the second period.

The Bobcats were led by Crandall, who racked up one goal.

With 43 shots on target during the contest, M1 Ohio University exceeded the 6.3 shots it averages per game this year.

M1 Ohio University also got points from Matthew Hartman, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Ohio University also had goals scored by Michael Harris and Matthew Rudin, who each put in one. More assists for M1 Ohio University came via Patrick Spellacy, Alexander Vazquez, and Adam Steranko, who each chipped in one.

M1 Liberty University put 26 shots on net during the contest, more than the 10.4 it averages per game.

The Flames were helped by Zechariah Roberts, who registered one goal. Roberts scored 8:52 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Steven Bellew assisted on the tally. Owen Harris also scored for M1 Liberty University. In addition, M1 Liberty University received assists from Kyle Garcia, who had one.

The Bobcats' Aaron Alkema stopped 24 shots out of the 26 that he faced. M1 Ohio University totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Matthew Pinel made 39 saves for M1 Liberty University on 43 shots. The Flames incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
