M1 Ohio University squeaks by M1 Liberty University, 6-4Bird Arena Fri, Jan 15, 2016 The M1 Ohio University Bobcats gutted out a close 6-4 win against the M1 Liberty University Flames. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Liam Geither secured the win for M1 Ohio University with a goal in the third period. The Bobcats' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. M1 Ohio University gives up 1.9 goal per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. With 45 shots on target during the contest, the Bobcats exceeded the 5.6 shots they average per game this year. M1 Ohio University was led by Joey Breslin, who tallied two goals. Breslin scored the first of his two goals at 5:41 into the second period to make the score 3-1 M1 Ohio University. Patrick Spellacy assisted on the tally.
