Pageau leads Stoney Creek over Dundas, 10-1

Behind a great game by Nathan Pageau, who had two goals and two assists, the Stoney Creek Generals defeated the Dundas Real McCoys, 10-1.

Pageau's tallies came at 14:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Stoney Creek and 1:38 into the third to make the score 8-1 Stoney Creek.

Stoney Creek's Daniel Svedin was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 31 saves and let only one puck past him. Svedin managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.67 prior to the game.

The Generals excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Dundas was unable to stop Stoney Creek from sending pucks towards the net, and the Generals eventually piled up 70 shots on goal. Stoney Creek's goal total was higher than its season average. The Generals average 7.0 goals per game.

Stoney Creek additionally got points from Jarrett Konkle, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, Andrew Radjenovic, who also had one goal and two assists, Justin Sawyer, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Jordan Morrison, who also registered two goals and two assists to lead the team in points, Justin Donati, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Myles Falasca, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Stoney Creek were Tyler Donati, who had three, Brandon McMartin and Nikola Bibic, who contributed one each, and Mike Ruberto and Jeff Leaist, who each chipped in two.

The Real McCoys could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Dundas averages 4.0 goals per game. The Real McCoys' offense rang up 32 shots on Stoney Creek's net.

The Generals incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Dundas' Mike Mole stopped 60 shots out of the 70 that he faced. The Real McCoys incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
