M1 Minot State University beats M1 Colorado State University 9-2 as Johnson gets hat trick

Jeremy Johnson lifted the M1 Minot State University Beavers to a 9-2 victory with a hat trick against the M1 Colorado State University Rams.

Johnson notched his first tally 8:08 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:47 into the first and at 9:22 into the second.

M1 Minot State University found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Beavers average 5.0 goals per contest. The defensemen of M1 Minot State University were also effective in M1 Colorado State University's zone, and came away with three goals. With 51 shots on target during the contest, the Beavers exceeded the 5.9 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Minot State University also got points from Ryan Curzon, who also registered one goal and one assist. Dylan Johnson also scored for M1 Minot State University.
