The M1 West Virginia University Mountaineers could not stop the M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins' Andrew Ferrentino, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-3 win.

Ferrentino got on the scoresheet 16:00 into the second period. He then added goals at 18:49 into the second and at 19:23 into the second.
