Huge game by Bork boosts M1 Canisius College over M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog, 7-1

The M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins' Brandon Bork had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-1 win over the M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog Tigers.

Bork's tallies came on the power play at 9:09 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Canisius College and 13:49 into the second to make the score 3-1 M1 Canisius College.

M1 Canisius College was led by goalie Alvin Dow, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Dow certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 4.79 entering the contest.

The Golden Griffins excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M1 Canisius College forced M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog goalie Gavin Lewis to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. The Golden Griffins outdid their season average for goals scored. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
