The M1 Slippery Rock University Pride's Alex Shimoloens scored 2:31 into overtime to beat the M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins, 6-5 (OT).

M1 Slippery Rock University overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Pride was down 5-2 after a goal by M1 Canisius College's Zachary Grace at 11:56 in the second period. M1 Slippery Rock University tied things up at 5-5 on a goal by Josh Mccuean at 19:05 in the third period.

Thomas Kimmick had two goals and one assist to lead the Pride. Kimmick scored the first of his two goals short handed at 13:59 into the second period to make the score 5-3 M1 Canisius College. An interference call on Scott Vogelgesang put M1 Slippery Rock University on the penalty kill. Kimmick's next tally short handed made the score 5-4 M1 Canisius College with 7:51 left in the third period. Karson Frisk picked up the assist.
