Early goals doom M1 Drexel University, falls to M1 Ohio University, 8-1

The M1 Ohio University Bobcats jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat the M1 Drexel University Dragons, 8-1.

M1 Ohio University got the win behind a great game by Joey Breslin, who had one goal and two assists. Breslin scored 9:34 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Ohio University. Grant Hazel assisted on the tally.

The Bobcats stifled M1 Drexel University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M1 Ohio University's goal total was higher than its season average. The Bobcats average 5.0 goals per game. M1 Ohio University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.
