Dresden falls to Lakeshore in overtime, 3-2 (OT)Atlas Centre Fri, Nov 20, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Sebastian Kanally gave the Lakeshore Canadiens a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Dresden Kings when he scored 3:25 into the extra period. Colin Sartor was all over the ice for Lakeshore, as he registered two goals in the win. Sartor scored on the power play at 8:17 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while on the power play 8:40 into the third to make the score 2-2. The Canadiens kept Dresden's goalie busy throughout the game, and Travis Moore made 38 saves on 41 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Lakeshore additionally got points from Kanally, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Lakeshore were Brenden Crundwell, who had two and JJ Percy, Mark MacPherson, and Mejoe Gasparovic, who contributed one each. Lakeshore was unable to stop the Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Dresden eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. The Kings were led by Derek Shaw, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Shaw scored on the power play 2:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dresden. Dresden had taken the advantage when the Canadiens' Sartor got sent off for hooking. Logan Purbrick provided the assist. Kevin Ritzer also scored for Dresden. More assists for Dresden came via Alex Hall and Dillon Liberty, who each chipped in one. Colin Tetreault recorded 30 saves for Lakeshore. The Canadiens incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Kings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
