The Integrity Amherstburg Admirals and the Lakeshore Canadiens skate to 6-6 (OT) tie

Integrity Amherstburg trailed Lakeshore by two in the second period, but the Canadiens did not give up and the game ended in a 6-6 (OT) tie.

Lakeshore was unable to stop the Admirals from sending pucks towards the net, and Integrity Amherstburg eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

The Admirals were led by Blake Rutckyj, who tallied two goals. Rutckyj scored the first of his two goals at 6:38 into the third period to make the score 6-5 Lakeshore. Caleb Paquette picked up the assist. Rutckyj's next tally made the score 6-6 with 5:35 left in the third period. Jordan Luciw assisted on the tally. Integrity Amherstburg also got points from Ryan Holzel, who also had one goal and one assist and Dylan Muzzatti, who also registered one goal and one assist. Integrity Amherstburg also had goals scored by Luke Gangnon and Spencer McConville, who scored one goal each. In addition, Integrity Amherstburg received assists from Blaine Bechard, Lucas Bersuk, and Chad Copeland, who contributed one each and Dean Patterson and Broden Meloche, who each chipped in two.

The Canadiens forced Admirals' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 38 shots and forcing 32 saves. Connor Meyerink made 13 stops and Daniel Tonietto made 19. The defensemen of Lakeshore were also effective in Integrity Amherstburg's zone, and came away with two goals.

The Canadiens were led by Brandon Ireland, who tallied one goal and two assists. Ireland scored 12:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Brenden Crundwell picked up the assist. Lakeshore additionally got points from Parker Boyle, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Aaron Moore, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Crundwell, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lakeshore included Steven Sartor and Mejoe Gasparovic, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Lakeshore were Joe Binder, who had two and Colin Sartor, JJ Percy, Zack Bedard, and Dylan Kolic, who contributed one each.

The Admirals avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Colin Tetreault recorded 35 saves for Lakeshore. The Canadiens finished the contest with no penalties and went 0-for-0 with the man advantage.
