Jack Leafeve netted a hat trick to lead the Wheatley Omstead Sharks over the Wallaceburg Lakers, 9-5. Leafeve's first goal came 13:50 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:21 into the second and at 16:17 into the second.Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 5:36 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. Wheatley's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time.
