A goal by Marshall Gevers put M1 Missouri State University up 6-2 in the second period, but M1 Colorado State University pulled to within one on Dylan Hassell's tally 3:54 into the third period. Gevers had two goals and two assists to lead the Ice Bears. Gevers scored the first of his two goals at 5:04 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Brendan McClew provided the assist.
