Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) defeated Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (MM) in a shootout 3-2 (2-0 SO).

The two teams needed four turns to complete the shootout. Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) also got a shootout goal from Jared Lombardi.

Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM) was led by Joe Abel, who registered one goal and one assist. Abel scored 17:06 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Philadelphia Jr. Flyers (MM). Kevin Cleary picked up the assist.

In the losing effort, Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (MM) was paced by Grant Cruikshank, who grabbed two goals. Cruikshank scored the first of his two goals at 8:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (MM). Nick Woodward assisted on the tally.
